Golf Club Sets Choose Wisely

I purchased a golf club set about a little less then 2 years ago. I have loved the set for the first few months I owned it. On the 7th month my swing went to the pitts and we know what comes next. I had to change the golf club sets! I went to an Adams SC Tour Driver that was excellent and still have as a back up.
I also tried a
Taylor Made 360...WAYYY TOOO BIG. And I also tried a Mizuno Forged and it was
quite pleasing. I started thinking about what "more forgiving" meant.
That means that in case you do something that is going to cause your ball to
stray...they golf club setsĀ will help
straighten it out! Well, guess what I found out? I was having such a hard time
working the ball effectively because some of the drivers I was using were
correcting it for me. No Good! So I decided to go back to the Titleist 975D and
fell in love all over again!
>This golf club sets
is different from most of it's contemporaries. Anyone who has hit it knpows
there is a big different in sound and feel as say a Taylor Made or Big Bertha.
The sound is much duller and the feeling is VERY different. However, having
found the right shaft and loft...this club I would not trade for anything! I
have hit the 975J and I still prefer this one. The head of the D is relatively
small by todays standards but the face is very deep and large.
>Bottom line...this
club is for those who prefer a more traditional feel and sound (I was not one
of those poeple until I started reaping the benefits) and those who wish to work
the ball...I hear so many times and read so many reviews about guys complaining
about hitting a weak fade it a cut or just flat out slicing! It's your swing
guys...the plane is what dictates the ball flight and type of spin you impart
on it. Most people have no business playing a Stiff anything in this club as
the hostel makes the club play as much as a flex STIFFER than what is labelled
on the shaft!
I am lucky to live
in an area that has many golf courses and quite a few club makers who really
know what they are doing. I have asked their opinions without any
discussions...and they all tell me..THIS CLUB MAKES THE SHAFT PLAY AT LEAST 1/2
FLEX IF NOT A WHOLE FLEX STROMGER BECAUSE THE LENGTH OF THE HOSEL! Case in
point...I used to play a Great Big Bertha with a Tour-X EI-70 shaft...not I
just play a STIFF Flex...and belileve you me...I have always generated quite a
bit of club head speed and played at least an X STIFF in anything I hit....heck
my 3 wood is a Titleist PT-15 with an X100 True Temper Sensicore.
>The message that I
am trying to convey is this: This is an absolutely fabulous golf club sets
(Amplified even more so by just how cheap you can get them)that nneds special
attention to the type of shaft you put in it so it will best suit your name...which
is simply the right correlation of Spin and Launch Angle...and don't
forget...soften the flex a little and you will see just how great of a club
this is! Don't forget...this is what Tiger, Daly, Love, Ducal, Michelson,
Couples...and over half the players on tour used to hit! Enjoy!
