Hawk Eye Single Golf Clubs
62I bought this single golf clubs last week and my first range experience was good. I hit the ball long and high, but I seemed to have a tendency to pull it. Even still, it went long and it didn't pull bad. Regardless, last night I took it out for a round and I've never had the distance that this club gave me. I had 6 drives over 240 yards, including two that were over 280.
This might not sound that great, but I normally average about 210 off the tee. Last night I averaged at least 230. I only put 3 balls in the fairway, but the misses were just off the fairway by a few feet and the distance off the tee more than made up for that as I was left with short approaches to the green on a regular basis. In fact it made nearly every par five reachable in two if I had elected to go for it.
Confidence From a Single Golf Club
What can I say other than this single golf club is worth its weight in gold so far. The confidence I feel at the tee is raising my game to a whole other level and I do know that I will be breaking 90 on a regular basis very soon thanks in part to this club. Lastly, I used a fairly soft ball with alot of spin last night. I'm looking forward to trying a distance ball with less spin to see what type of distance I can gain.
Other Single Golf Clubs
Bad news is that the shaft broke at the same place a few days ago while playing singles golf clubs. Broken shafts will happen with the bore-through design of the Hawkeye combined with fast swing speeds (140-160+ MPH). Both times Callaway has offered to fix the problem for free. I cannot say enough about Callaway's customer service. They also refinished my X-14 Irons for only $45, and they looked brand new when I got them back. What a company! While I am waiting on my Hawkeye I am trying the Callway C4.
