Clevland Launcher Bought From Golf Club Sale
I bought this club from a store having golf clubs for sale after hitting 3 other drivers on a
previous day, then returning a couple of days later and adding the Launcher 9.5
degree to the mix. After only a couple of swings I knew this was the club for
me. Felt much better and flight profile was much better than the others.
First trip to the range, very disappointing. I was hitting the same low hook
that I have been hitting for 5 years with my old (very old) driver.
Distance From Launcher from Golf Club Sale
We all want more distance, but more than that I wanted consistency, both in trajectory and shape. This Driver was preceded in my bag by a Wilson Deep Red Tour II, 7.5* with a Grafalloy Prolite+ X-Stiff. This club was pretty much the real deal but I could occasionally lose it either way overall for the price we got it after looking for golf clubs sale on the internet It is a complete win on our part.
However, today I finally got to actually play. During warm-up on the range, I was
absolutely killing it. Carry was usually about 250. Flight looked perfect, but
I was hitting it into a hill area, so roll was difficult to gauge.
Closing Marks About Launcher Golf Clubs On Sale
The Cleveland 400 solved that problem. Mine has an Aldila NV-65X (X-Stiff). I guess this review may be as much about the shaft as the club head, certainly they make an awesome combination together.
On to the course. Beautiful. Wonderful. I could not have hoped for better. My
worst shot was toward the toe, but ended up about 250 yards down the middle.
My playing partners would say "You really hit that one" after each
drive. I could not be more pleased with this club. And it looks good, too. Mine
came with the standard gold shaft (stiff). I've read several have poo pooed
this shaft, but it's working very well for me. My avg swing speed is measured
at +/- 112.
I think I can play better with good golf club sale that looks good to me. I have stayed away
form large head drivers for a long time. This one is 400cc, but doesn't look
that large. The design and colors looks very good to my eye.
I hit this club on a very similar ball flight to the Wilson despite the extra degree of loft (presumably due to the shaft). This club is long, and very repetitious in ball flight. I carry it around 290-300 with a flat flight. I prefer to hit a fade but this one prefers to go dead straight. It will turn over but the high draw and this club don't go well together.
