Dual Force 2 Putter

As you do with dual force 2 putters, it comes to a stage where you just need a change. I tried loads and loads and then found this in the back of the shop in the second hand bin.... It was cut down to buggery at 32 inches which is only a half inch shorter than "Old Faithful". but short enough for the guy to give it to me for $35.

Anyway.. most well made putters have consistency of pace off the face and this certainly had that. In my trials the white hot was the only putter to match it for consistency. It takes a technically good stroke to get the best out of this putter but the stronomic insert.. when used correctly.. gives an early rolling ball which keeps your putts online longer (an inertia and cerifugal effect).

If you pull it.. or push it (your put that is) you will find the pace consistency off the face will leave you level with the hole for an easy tap in and not yards short as with some other putters.

This putter gives genuine feedback through the face which in other putters can be too hard.. eg ping steel or too soft eg fisher. This is in the middle and gives you great confidence.

Bottom line... these putters are coming very cheap second hand from all the white hot upgrade people.. but it is still a top quality putter at a fraction of the price.

Used dual force 2 putters are just broken in... don't get caught up in the hype.

Dual Force 2 Putter Review

My putting was suffering and really letting my scores down until I tried a friends 2-Ball. Every putt seemed to go in, or very close. The week before I took 34 putts with my old putter. On my first game with the 2-Ball, I took 27. The feel is excellent and lining up the putts is easy. So easy, it feels like cheating. The club gives me so much confidence over the ball. Something I haven't had while putting for a long time.

The only problem with it is the price. It's £150 (about $211) over here in the UK which is a lot to pay. When you consider that it's the club you use the most, and most people pay twice that for a driver, then it's worth it.

If you are struggling with putts and don't mind a large, strange looking Dual Force 2 Putter, then try it. I guarantee you'll play well with it.
